The Principle of the Screw Air Compressor

There are four processes of the screw air compressor --- air suction, seal and transport, compressed, discharge.

1. Air suction ---- There is no air inlet and exhaust valve for screw compressor, two screws are engaged well into the air end body, the gap between two screws is biggest when they turns to the air suction side. Due to the vacuum in the gap, air will be sucked in. The two screws continue turns, and air will be sealed between the body and screws.

2. Seal and transport ---- The air will be moved to the exhaust side together with the sealed gap.

3. Compressed ---- The sealed gap will be smaller when it move to the exhaust side. And the air will be compressed by the enclosed space.

4. Discharge ---- The screws continue turns and gap will connect with exhaust side, the discharge start. The compressed air pressure is highest then, and the discharge will be finished when the gap becomes to 0. At the same time, the suction start...
