After long-term operation of the mechanical seal of the air compressor, the spring and shaft sleeve will also be rusted and damaged, and the sealing ring will lose elasticity due to aging and deformation, and the end faces of the moving ring and stationary ring will be worn due to friction. All these reasons will cause leakage of the mechanical seal and affect the normal operation of the air compressor. Therefore, after a long period of operation, it is necessary to replace or repair the mechanical seal elements and then reuse them. Moreover, after the repair of mechanical seal elements, they shall be reassembled. After assembly, they shall also be subject to pressure test, and then put into normal operation.
